Aishwarya Rajesh Exclusive!

More pics from our photoshoot!

Our October cover girl – Aishwarya Rajesh – is raring to go with nothing stopping her. With an impressive line-up of films in her kitty such as ‘Kanaa’, ‘Vada Chennai’ and ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ apart from the recently released ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ she has marked a clear space for her in the Film Industry.

“It’s always a learning process.”

Prod her about her journey and she’s rather humble about it, crediting her directors and the roles she’s done. Having been in the industry for nearly seven years, she believes that each director taught her something and that with each project, she left with something to take away that would further her performance in other films. “I’ve worked with different directors and each filmmaker differs from each other. It’s a journey of a lot of learning. Getting to know the basics to understand and knowing cinema, or how to conduct yourself, and other essentials such as how to talk, how not to talk, and other know-hows have been instrumental in the learning process.”

Ask her about a role that she wishes she could have done better and the answer takes you by surprise. “All the roles!” she avers, leaving room for questions. There’s always a niggling desire to do better, she believes. Despite the several years she’s spent here, tiny little nuances she thinks she still could have done better. “All my roles that I’ve performed on screen, I feel I could have done it better. I’m never fully satisfied with what I have done. I keep wanting to better myself. I have never been completely satisfied with all my performances till date,” she adds, matter-of-factly.
