The makers of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan have been unveiling the first looks of various characters for the past 3 days. First, Vikram’s character was revealed as Adithya Karikalan. Then Karthi’s character was disclosed as Vanthiyadevan. Now, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s character has been revealed by the team.

We all know that Aishwarya will be playing Queen Nandini in the film. She is seen adorning a silk saree with long hair with simple yet antique jewellery sets. The makers tweeted, “Vengeance has a beautiful face! Meet Nandini, the Queen of Pazhuvoor!”

Aishwarya Rai was last seen in Fanney Khan, a Hindi film. She is now fully working only on Ponniyin Selvan, which will be released in 2 parts. The movie also stars, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Shobitha Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Prabhu, Prakash Raj and many others. The first part of the  movie is all set to release on September 30. The OTT rights of the film is reportedly grabbed by a huge OTT platform and has been sold for a huge amount.
