Airaa Teaser: Nayanthara Will Spook You Out!!!!

Lady Superstar in an unexpected role!!!

The teaser of Nayanthara’s next – ‘Airaa’ – is out and has left everybody floored. The teaser reveals little but definitely spooks you out more than anything. Nayanthara is seen fluttering between the present and past time, with her looking different in the both the times. A butterfly is seen too with some unexpected, supernatural elements thrown in, shuttering from colour to black-and-white.

The teaser is chilling, giving us a glimpse into this KJR Studios backed film. The film marks director Sarjun KM’s second feature film and is said to be a horror thriller.

Actress Nayanthara, who has been doing women-centric movies, has set a mark for herself in the south Indian film industry. In a male dominating industry, she has managed to be an inspiration for other actresses to take up strong lead roles. Her last two flicks – ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ and ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ – are proof of this.

Director Sarjun, who is known for his bold and controversial subject, moves towards a more horror-thriller genre this time. His previous movie, the short film named ‘Maa’ dealt with teenage pregnancy. His other short film ‘Lakshmi’ is a story of a woman who has an extramarital affair one night. Both the films received a lot of criticisms for its daring subject.

After ‘Aramm’ and ‘Gulebagavali’, Sarjun’s project will be the third one to be produced by KJR studios lead by Kotapadi.J.Rajesh. It is not the first time for Nayanthara to act in a horror flick. ‘Maya’ and ‘Dora’, are her previous horror flicks which became a huge hit. There is no doubt that the lady superstar will ace this one too.

In the pipeline, she has a bunch of other projects including ‘Viswasam’ with Ajith scheduled to release this month, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ with Chiranjeevi, ‘Love Action Drama’ with Nivin Pauly, and ‘Kolaiyuthir Kalam’.
