In a recent, yet another rumour resurfaced that Kamal Haasan’s Alwarpet home has been given the “Quarantined” sticker by the Tamil Nadu health authorities but when they went it, Kamal was not present at home. However, the actor took to social media and clarified that that house is actually the Makkal Needhi Mayyam Party office and he does not live there anymore. “Most of you already know that I have not been living there for the past few years, and the Makkal Needhi Maiam party office has been functioning from there. So, the news that I have been quarantined is not true,” wrote Kamal in his press statement. He further talked about the importance of social distancing too.
The authorities then clarified yet again that the quarantine sticker was in fact for Gautami who had returned from abroad 20 days ago. Her passport carried the address of Kamal’s Alwarpet residence and hence the sticker. Post this, the actress took to Twitter to indirectly react to this.
“Gd morning everyone, just wanted 2 let all of you know that I am safe & sound at home. As I have been since my return 2 India 20 days ago. I’m sure all of u r also following the prescribed (& sensible) rules & staying safe. Use this time wisely & positively!” wrote the actress.

Gautami and Kamal Haasan are not in touch anymore through any means and in an open letter four years ago, Gautami confessed that she had to end the relationship mutually as she felt she lost her self-respect being together. She further cleared the air that Shruti Haasan had nothing to do with the entire situation which the media had reported otherwise back then.
