After Samantha Akkineni, It’s Keerthy Suresh!

Sam has proved her mettle yet again!

Keerthy Suresh’s ‘Mahanati’ completed a year in cinema and even today it is one of the most finest films ever made not to forget the impeccable acting Keerthy did doning the role of superstar Savithri. She was unstoppable as an actress ever since but her roles were not quite as charming as ‘Mahanati’. Her roles in ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Sandakozhi 2’ was not as powerful or meaty as her role as Savithri.
As sure as we are about her talent, we are hoping that she has sunk her teeth into a bigger and better role in Bollywood alongside Ajay Devgn. But, that’s not the only role she has got hold of. The actress has reportedly been approached by the ‘Petta’ director Karthik Subbaraj. But, this time he has approached Keerthy to be a part of a film he is producing under his home banner Stone Bench Creations.

The director is apparently a debutante and an official announcement will be made once all the talks are finalised.

Keerthy Suresh is now touted to do a cameo in Nagarjuna’s ‘Manmadhudu 2’ which would be 20 minutes long. The film also has Samantha Akkineni doing a cameo for which the actress flew to Portugal to shoot.

It has been reported that Samantha Akkineni has been paid around 35 lakhs for her 5 minute cameo but Keerthy, for her extended role has been paid only 25 lakhs.

However, the importance of the role makes a huge difference.

Starring Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead, the film is directed by Rahul Ravindran.

Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh will surely lighten up the comedy track in the movie. Other characters include Nassar, Lakshmi, Devadarshini, Jhansi, etc. The music is being rendered by Chaitan Bharadwaj. Manmadhudu 2 is sequel to the 2002 romantic comedy movie of Nagarjuna that had become a huge box office hit.

Samantha and Nagarjuna will be seen sharing screen space for the third time after ‘Manam’ and ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’.
