South Indian actress Laila is known for her great performances in the Tamil industry. After a gap of 16 years, Laila is coming back to the industry with Karthik’s upcoming film Sardar. The film is directed by PS Mithran.

It is said by a source that Laila will appear in a full-fledged part, for which she has already been filming for more than 15 days. Originally Simran was roped for the role but due to the COVID pandemic the shooting underwent changes and actress Simran’s schedule was different. After that, the makers thought Laila would be an excellent choice for this role. In 2019, She was scheduled to make a comeback with the thriller Alice, starring Raiza Wilson, but the project failed to take off.

Laila was lastly seen in the Malayalam movie Mahha Samudram in 2006 and was seen in the show Dance Jodi Dance Juniors as a judge in 2019 and Gokulathil Seethai. The cast of the film, which is described as an action thriller, also includes Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan.
