Aditi Rao Hydari will be the heroine in the upcoming Mani Ratnam movie. The film was earlier to be done with Sai Pallavi and Karthi Sivakumar in the lead. As the Premam actress backed out of the project due to date issues, Aditi Rao has been roped in for the film to replace the heroine. She is known for her roles in Yeh Saali Zindagi and Bejoy Nambiar’s latest, Wazir. The film’s story line was earlier leaked in the internet and created a lot of buzz. Karthi plays a NRI pilot who falls in love with a doctor during a trip to India. A fake poster with the name ‘Kuruthi Pookal’ with a rose bud, a gun and a splash of blood was trending on the internet. The ace director has rubbished all reports and said except Aditi, Karthi and Rahman composing music, nothing has been finalized. The film will be produced by Mani Ratnam’s home banner Madras Talkies.
