The latest buzz is that actress Sai Pallavi and her ‘Diya’ director AL Vijay are currently dating and that they might get married quite soon. AL Vijay had also denied the rumours of his first wedding with Amala Paul and suddenly took everyone by surprise. Fans are expecting the same now and are expecting a good news soon. However, it turns out that the director and the Rowdy Baby star are just friends.

In a recent interview with a leading daily, the ‘Madrasapattinam’ director said, “The reports about me and Sai Pallavi are false. She is just a nice friend to me. I don’t have plans of getting married now. My only focus is on movies.”

However, reports and sources close to the director say otherwise and that he doesn’t want to talk about it for now or make it public.

Sai Pallavi is currently awaiting the release of Selvaraghavan-Suriya’s NGK.
