Actress Namitha, who has been a part of the Kollywood industry since 2004, started her Tamil career with Engal Anna. She had already debuted in the film industry with the Telugu film Sontham in 2002. With quite a successful career graph, Namita is now acting in small roles in Tamil and Telugu films.

She gained more fame when she became a Bigg Boss Tamil contestant in Season 1. Immediately after she came out of the show, she married her longtime boyfriend Veerendra in Tirupati. The actress has now taken to her official Instagram account to share photos of her pregnancy.

Flaunting her pregnant belly in a maternity photoshoot, Namitha wrote, “Motherhood

In 2019, Namitha along with actor Radha Ravi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of party president J. P. Nadda in Chennai. In July 2020, after 8 months of joining the BJP, Namitha was appointed as one of the state executive member of the BJP in Tamil Nadu. On the work front, Namitha is currently filming for a bilingual film called ‘Bow Bow’.
