The ‘Billa’ actress Namitha who was worshiped by her fans once is not in limelight for quite a while but in the court of Chennai, she had recently filed a case against her house owner who harassed her for no valid reason.
Namitha resides in a house that is located in Nungambakkam and has been paying a rent of Rs.15,000 every month but her house owner Karupaih Nagarathinam was forcing her to vacate the house immediately. He had also threatened her that she would have to face the consequences if she doesn’t vacate.
“My house owner is now forcing me to vacate the flat despite my regular payments. He threatened me of cutting off electricity and water supplies and also throw me out of the house by force if I don’t vacate immediately,”, said the actress.
In response to that, the court in Chennai has granted an interim stay till January 12 and restrained the house owner from dislodging her. The court also directed the house owner not to harass Namitha.
