Actor Madhavan’s son wins gold medal at National swimming event

Proud father shares his happiness on social media

The proud father, R Madhavan took to social media to announce that his son Vedaant, won his first gold in the 100 meters freestyle at the Nationals swimming championship. The actor posted pictures of his son with the medal with a caption thanking everyone for their blessings.

 

His fans were quick to congratulate and took the opportunity to interact with their favourite actor.Β It may be recalled that Vedaant won his first medal for India at the Thailand Age Group Swimming Championship, April 2018 in the 1500 freestyle category. Madhavan married his wife Sarita in 1999 and Vedaant is the couple’s only child.

The actor opted out of Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and another project opposite Saif Ali Khan following shoulder surgery. Now he is currently busy with his forthcoming biopic based on scientist Nambi Narayanan titled Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.Β  Madhavan will be playing the role of the scientist in the multilingual film. He will be seen as an old scientist in the movie. He will play the protagonist in all stages of his life – from 25 to 75 years.

 

The film is jointly directed by Anant Mahadevan and Madhavan.Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will mark Madhavan’s debut as a director. The actor will be seen in three different looks for the movie. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will focus on the scientist’s life and the ISRO espionage case.

Madhavan was last seen in the Amazon web series Breathe. His last Tamil film was box-office smash hit Vikram Vedha along with Vijay Sethupathi. The film is set to be remade in Hindi.
