In this hour-long funny roast session airing on Netflix, family, and friends of the three Jonas Brothers Joe, Kevin and Nick made it to the stage to roast them wittingly and light the air with humor.
From ‘Superwoman’ Lilly Singh to the man of the moment Pete Davidson, singer John Legend to actor-comedian Jack Whitehall, every one put in attendance on stage to roast them in this show hosted by Kenan Thompson, in the presence of their wives — Danielle, Sophie and Priyanka — and their dad Kevin Sr.
Taking the stage after her desi friend Lilly Singh, Priyanka looked stunning in a gold sequined dress as she proceeded to roast the brothers by beginning with her culture.
“I come from a land known for its culture and entertainment,” she said, “and of course the Jonas Brothers didn’t make it there,” she chuckled leaving the audience in splits.
Halfway through her roast, the actor stirred up the audience with her poker face and nerve-wracking announcement of how she and her husband were ‘expecting,’ capping off all the rumors that ever arose.
She said, “Nick and I are the only couple without a baby and I have to tell, am sorry babe… but we are EXPECTING…. To get drunk and party tonight!”
The derailed announcement led the audience into splits as Nick could be seen backing off into his chair. After her roast, Nick made his way onto the stage and hugged her close, giving a kiss while saying “you did great,” which could be the sealing off of so many rumors against this happy couple.
