Deepika Padukone will enact the true story of a brave woman, Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor. She is also an activist for the rights of acid attack victims. The film promises to be compelling and shows that acid attacks are still prevailing in India.
Richa Chadha – Shakeela
Shakeela, starring Richa Chadha, brings us the story of the woman who was a pioneer and a true revolutionary in the film business in the South. The film will tell the story of Shakeela, a well-known adult film actress in the 90s, who defied norms in a male-dominated industry.
Nithya Menon – J Jayalalithaa
The upcoming biopic on Dr J Jayalalithaa, the former Chief Minister of TamilNadu and a Kollywood actress, will be played by Nithya Menon. The film titled The Iron Lady ensures to give complete justice to the character and is the story of perseverance and grit.
Janhvi Kapoor – Gunjan Saxena
Janhvi Kapoor will lead the way for bringing forth the story of Gunjan Saxena, the first Indian woman combat aviator who evacuated injured soldiers in the 1999 Kargil War. This story is moving and personifies selflessness and bravery.

Jacqueline Fernandez – Deborah Herold
In the upcoming biopic, Jacqueline will play the Indian cyclist, Deborah Herold. Deborah is a 23-year-old cyclist from the Nicobar Islands. She is the first Indian cyclist to compete in the Union Cyclists International and has won several International medals. Deborah is currently training for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
