1.Pithamagam: Known to be one of his best performances till date, the character of ‘Chithan’, the adopted son of a graveyard’s caretaker, was played by Vikram. with no dialogues, Chiyaan totally nailed the character with his intense expressions and his body language. Pithamagan was directed by Bala and also stars Suriya, Laila and Sangeetha in pivotal roles.

 

 

2. Irumugan: Vikram’s dual role as ‘Akhilan Vinod’, the detective and ‘Love’, the super villain shows that he is beyond just transformation in physical appearance. His transformation was rigorous and mind blowing and his acting was spectacular even beyond the pain. Directed by Shankar, the movie also stars Amy Jackson and Santhanam.

 

5. Deiva Thirumagal: Vikram plays the role of ‘Krishna’ who is a mentally disabled adult. He has an intellectual growth of a six-year-old and has a daughter named ‘Nila’ whom he loves and takes great care of. The role is not an easy one to pull off, but to Vikram, it was a piece of cake. The kind of father-daughter love he portrayed, irrespective of the disability, is something truly amazing. Directed by A.L.Vijay, this movie stars Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul and Santhanam.

 

 

6. Anniyan: Sporting the role of a person with split personality is very hard, especially, when its three different characters. He was ‘Ambi’, the Lawyer with a disturbing past, ‘Remo’ the romantic and ‘Anniyan’ the killer of the evil. The scenes that required immediate transformation was so natural that it never felt like acting. Directed by Shankar, the movie stars Sadha and Prakash Raj.

 

7. Kasi: This tragedy drama film portrayed Vikram as a blind poet and singer who supports his family by singing. Vikram as ‘Kasi’ touched every heart with his acting. Directed by Vinayan, this movie also starred Kaveri, Kavya Madhavan and Manivannan.
