Yaaay ! I finally found some time to bake ☺️ decided to do some healthy #carrotmuffins 🥕 Found a great recipe on #cookieandkate .. didn’t have nutmeg so I used cinnamon instead, skipped the raisins, used 1cup wheat flour+1 cup oats instead of 1 & 3/4cup wheat flour(always find that subbing some wheat flour with oats makes it fluffier) added a drizzle of butter (just to make the cake even more moist) and a sprinkling of brown sugar on top… and now my kitchen smells like Christmas 🥰 What’s baking in your kitchen ? 👀 #wakeandbake 🧁😋

Here comes the #cookiemonster 👻 I cannot begin to describe how much I love #oatmealraisincookies and I’m always on the lookout for them.. I love the chewy texture of the oats, the warmth of cinnamon flavor, and the sudden sweetness of a raisin popping in your mouth ❤️ Sadly, they are very hard to come by in Chennai.. so I decided to bake my own cookies.. I found the perfect recipe on #sallysbakingaddiction 🍪🍪🍪 P.S : what’s better than an oatmeal raisin cookie ? #oatmealraisinchocolatechipcookies with some chopped almonds thrown in for extra crunch 😛

Whole wheat banana bread 🍌 Ingredients: – 1&3/4 cups whole wheat flour – 1/2 cup honey/maple syrup – 1/3 cup vegetable oil – 1 cup mashed banana – 1/4 cup milk – 2 eggs – 1 tablespoon unsalted butter – 1 teaspoon vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup chopped walnuts(optional) Pre-heat oven to 165 C. Grease a 9x5inch pan. Whip oil & honey in a bowl, then add eggs one by one. Add the milk, then the mashed banana, stir well. Finally add the vanilla essence, baking soda & cinnamon & salt. Slowly blend the flour into the mixture. Stir well and pour into the pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes (depending on the oven). Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing & eating ! I opted to make a side of chocolate ganache, which is super easy, just two ingredients- heavy cream & chocolate in a 1:1 ratio ! Just heat cream till it simmers and pour over finely chopped chocolate. Whisk until the mixture is smooth. I do hope all of you will find it in your heart to donate to the Hill Charity 🙏🏻

My first harvest of cabbage microgreens 💚.. For those of you interested in growing your own … all you need is a tray , cocopeat , seeds and a cool room (I used my bedroom ) that has a window that lets sunlight partially in .. if the tray isn’t getting much sunlight , a bed side lamp can be placed near it .. 😊😊 Step 1: fill the tray with cocopeat … leave room at the top Step 2: sprinkle the seeds Step 3: spray water generously till the cocopeat is completely moist and cover the tray. Place the tray in the coolest area of your house next to a window .. if there is less sunlight you can use a bedside lamp (I did that ) . Leave it for 4 days .. (you can check on it everyday you ll see it sprout ) . On the 5th day remove the cover of the tray and spray water generously once everyday .. By day 8 your microgreens are ready to harvest upto day 14 💚… I got my seeds from @zeptogreens .. happy gardening 💚
