3. Bhaskar the Rascal
Co-starring Nayantara in this film, Mammootty plays the role of widower father. The son and his best friend want their parents to get together and find means to it.
4. Varsham
This film is known for his stellar performance as a father who comes to terms with a harsh truth that changes his outlook towards life.
5. Puthiya Niyamam
This movie was a treat, for it had Nayantara and Mammootty playing the leads once again. Unlike their previous movie together, this one was an edge of the seat thriller.

A much awaited release, Kasaba in fact was the first Malayalam movie teaser that got 1 Million views from YouTube in less than 100 hours.
7. White
Back to back releases the same month, Mammootty pairs with Bollywood actress, Huma Quereshi for this one. He plays the role of a banker by the name, Prakash Roy.
