1. Trisha Krishnan

 

Trisha’s first advertisement was for HORLICKS which brought her into the limelight. After which she was an unnoticed friend of actress Simran in the movie ‘Jodi’. Her first film was ‘Lesa Lesa’ directed by the famous Priyadarshan.

2. Samantha Ruth Prabhu

 

Samantha is one of the most talked about actresses today. She is also one of the busiest. With 5 movies in her kitty, Sam is approached by every big and small director. However, Sam started her career in an advertisement of Asika Jewellers. After several ads, she debuted in Gautham Menon’s ‘Ye Maya Chesave’.

3. Tamannaah Bhatia:

 

Tamannaah has been signing huge films ever since she played the role of Avanthika in the ‘Bahubali’ series. The actress was 15 years when she first appeared in a Fair and Lovely No Marks advertisement.

4. Vijay Sethupathi

 

Sethupathi joined the Chennai-based theatre group ‘Koothu-P-Pattarai’ as an accountant and actor where he observed actors from close quarters.He made his beginnings as a background actor, particularly playing the role of the lead character’s friend in a few films. Besides he acted in television series, including the well-known series Penn that began in March 2006, as well as several short films as part of the television show ‘Nalaya Iyakunar’ for Kalaignar TV.

5. Genelia D’Souza

 

Tamil director, S. Shankar, was impressed with her performance in the Parker Pen commercial and decided to cast her in a leading role in his 2003 Tamil film Boys.

6. Kajal Aggarwal

 

Aggarwal made her acting debut in the 2004 Bollywood film ‘Kyun…! Ho Gaya Na’, in which she had a minor supporting role as the friend of Diya. After which  She signed veteran Tamil director Bharathiraja’s ‘Bommalattam’, alongside Arjun Sarja. The film got delayed and released in late 2008.
