5 Times Oviya proved she’s Ultimate

There’s no question as to whether there’s anyone who is not a fan of Oviya! With Oviya’s army recruiting people still even after the first season of Bigg Boss is long over, TN has been taken by storm by this sweetheart of a girl. Although Aarav won the first ever season of Bigg Boss, Oviya is still on top of her game. Not has she only signed three films, she has also been interacting with her fans, socializing and much more. Here’s taking a look at the top 5 times Oviya absolutely slayed the day with her savageness!

  1. Kalavani performance – Becoming a sleeper hit this 2010 hit film Kalavani was the first film that put Oviya on the map. Playing an innocent school girl the actress was apt for the job with her innocent looks and perfectly double braided hair with ribbons. Though she was the not feminist fashion icon you see now, it showed mettle that her performance is not to be taken lightly.

2. Pulivaal Performance – Did you miss her performance in Pulivaal? Don’t worry we are here to remind you to watch it next time it is on TV. Oviya sizzled in Pulivaal as the betrayed girlfriend of Prasanna’s character who was innocent yet with a raw sexuality tone. The movie also saw the first time the actress was saree clad on screen making it a favourite amongst Oviya fans. She brought back the magic again later in Yamirukka Bayamey.

3. Neenga Shut up Pannunge – Bigg Boss the biggest moment of Oviya’s career! Hosted by Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan, the reality show saw contestants predominantly from the film industry. However, one among them stole a million hearts and even got a fanbase named “Oviya Army”. Yes, Oviya has now become Tamil Nadu’s evergreen favourite for her cool attitude and loving character and of course her open honesty. She floored millions with just the line, ‘Neenga Shut up Pannunge’.

4. Fashion Icon – If you thought Bigg Boss was a disaster for Oviya think again! The lady became a feminist plus fashion icon right after the reality show when she cut her hair and shed all the negativity from her life and started styling herself as the rockin glam doll that she is. We absolutely loved this haircut and what’s more it goes with everything! Look at her rockin it in Kanchana 3 shoot:

5. JFW covershoot – Of course last but least our biggest and favourite item on this list is when she decided to pose our cover. Our covergirl was chic in many looks and carried that hairstyle of hers in panache. It was fun, fashionable, flirty and best of all it showed one of the biggest films stars in the making!
