Shruti Haasan and her artist boyfriend Santanu Hazarika have been making headlines in recent days for their relationship. In her Instagram profile, Shruti often keeps posting pictures with Hazarika who is a well-known Mumbai-based illustrator and doodle artist originally from Assam. Shruti said that she met Santanu through his art which put an imprint on her mind long before she met him personally. She added ‘I met his art first before meeting him.’ The actress said earlier she had no idea about who Santanu is and what he does but his art impressed her and they started communicating through social media. She added that they had a common friend who on his art platform page had uploaded an artwork by Santanu in 2017 which impressed her. Earlier Santanu shared about his common interest with Shruti and how they met during one of his interviews, He said that both of them loved metal music and they are also big fans of Gothic culture. The artist added that Shruti and he are a kind of a muse to each other as their inspiration is drawn from a similar mind.

On the work front Shruthi Haasan just wrapped up shooting for her movie Saalar, starring Phrabas and Prithiviraj in the lead roles. The movie is set to release in September of this year.
