SS Rajamouli might have garnered worldwide fame with the Bahubali series but he already won the hearts of the South Indian film industry when he made a film as grand and wonderful as Magadheera. The film which saw Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead grossed 200 million rupees in Andhra Pradesh alone. The film ran in theatres for 1000 days collecting 1.5 billion rupees which was touted to be the first highest billion rupees grosser the Telugu cinema had ever seen.

The film released 10 years ago today and the two leads took it to social media to express their emotions and gratitude.

Kajal wrote, “#10YearsOfMagadheera already! My experience of working on this film was so enriching. Thank you @ssrajamouliSir for being a fabulous influence in my life, truly cherish everything I’ve learned from you and carry your ethics in my hear.”
