Junga has Sethupathi collaborating with his Idharkkuthaane Aasai Pattai Balakumara director Gokul, with the film mostly show in France, with the other parts of the shooting taking place in Chennai, Tuticorin, and Ramanathapuram.
Bankrolled by Sethupathi’s own production company – Vijay Sethupathi Productions – the production company has in the past produced two other films including Orange Mittai (2014) and Merku Thodarchi Malai (2016).
The trailer was launched today along with four audio tracks, with music composed by Siddharth Vipin. Speaking at the event, it was revealed that the film will be about a young man from a ‘budget’ family hailing from Chennai’s Parrys who goes to Paris. As for the title name? It’s the name of his character!
