The period war has had the actress learn how to sword fight too. The film will also include 70 minutes of CGI effects by the same company who did for Baahubali and 2.0. The film’s first-look was out recently.

Period war films are aplenty down South. SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise is the most popular of them, in addition to being the highest grossing Indian film ever. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, and Tamannaah Bhatia. Rudhramadevi, starring Anushka Shetty, is yet another female-centric period film. In the pipeline, Sundar C’s Sangamithra starring Disha Patani, Jayam Ravi, and Arya is in the works.
