Pavithra, the daughter of Duraivelan and Jayanthi, was a 7-year-old-girl who was playing on the street in Choolaimedu, Chennai on Tuesday night when she was unexpectedly hit by a car. The car was driven by Preeti who was learning to drive with the help of her husband who was teaching her when the unfortunate incident happened. Pavitra was immediately rushed to the hospital but was found dead on arrival. Police have reportedly filed a case and are investigating the matter. Before the blame game begins as to whether it was the parents’ fault for letting the kid play on the street or the driver’s fault who should have been more careful when learning is yet to be seen.
