What Kind Of Shopper Are You?

Retail therapy is an actual thing these days and needless to say, the happiness we gain out of shopping is insurmountable. While some of us go to the mall and spend hours looking at things,  with the advent of online shopping, many of us like to just click away. There are shopaholics and people who don’t like to loosen their purse strings no matter how much they love something. So, what kind are you?

The Compulsive Shopper

This type of shopper is someone who treats every shopping trip like they are on a mission to reach their credit card limit. They don’t understand the concept of delayed gratification and are all about pleasing and pampering themselves all the time. These shoppers will not be satisfied until they have the best and latest of everything in the market. We all have one friend who is a compulsive shopper among us, don’t we?

The Window Shopper

This type of shopper will walk around the mall for endless hours just looking at things and not making a single purchase. These are usually the people who have a vast knowledge of what items to buy with the courtesy of having never bought them! Shopping with a window shopper can become quite tiresome for someone who flashes their credit card at every shop.

The Bargain Shopper

This type of shopper is a walking and talking encyclopedia of discount coupons, vouchers, online codes and store sales. They hunt down deals with such ferocity that will put even a compulsive shopper to shame. This is a good thing because you can be dead sure that this person will absolutely find the lowest price in town or in the online world for a particular item. These types of shoppers shop exclusively only during store sales and stack up for an entire season.

The Impulsive Shopper

This type of shopper will spend a ridiculous amount of money on a bedside lamp just because it looks ‘cute’. They are also the same people who have about ten different kinds of lamps next to their bed and probably owe someone money. According to them, every purchase they make is the most sensible purchase they have ever made. If they get a single compliment on one of their many regrettable purchases, there really is no stopping them!

The Nerdy Shopper

This type of shopper will look at every product review in every site or magazine and ask everyone around before even making the decision to buy the product. For instance, buying a 42 inch LED television will take about five months of researching every brand and every model of television and visiting 14 different websites that provide reviews. Based on that information, they make an informed decision. Or you never know, they might just wait until the next year’s models come out!
