VBJ JFW Awards: Vijay Yesudas-Mahati’s Soulful Singing, Aishwarya Rajesh’s gorgeous Performance And ‘Jimmiki Kammal’!

The VBJ JFW Awards which took place on the 23rd of September had some scintillating performances that not just made the audience glued to their seats but also melted their hearts to some nostalgic music with even better vocals. It was not just Jyothika’s speech that was beautiful it was also the ‘Jimmiki Kammal’ girls Anna and Sheril who looked gorgeous in a traditional Onam style attire.

Firstly, this year’s Awards saw the forever gorgeous Aishwarya Rajesh grooving to the tune of hit numbers like ‘Azhagiye’, ‘Sendhoora’, ‘Surviva’ and much more.

 

Apart from this, the amazing singers with mesmerizing voices – Vijay Yesudas and Mahathi melted the audience with their soulful singing. The duo sang together for various songs like ‘Kaadhal Vandhadhum’ from ‘Poovellam Un Vaasam’, ‘Nenje Nenje’ from Ayan and much more. While Vijay sung his classic hits that included a tribute to Vani Jayaram ‘Nilavaley Silai Seidhu’, some beautiful songs of his fathers which included ‘Aaraarirao’ and lastly, his hits which included ‘Malarey’ from Premam, ‘Avalum Naanum’ from Achcham yenbadhu Madamayadaa, ‘Kadhal Veithu’ and Dheivangal Ellam’. Mahathi’s solos included ‘Ezhu Swarangalukul’, ‘Naaney Naana’, ‘Vaadi Rasathi’ and ‘Aasai Aasai Ippozhudhu’.
