JFW’s Fashion Report Card: Who Wore What!

The week had stars making fashion statements and blunders, so we bring you the best and the worst dressed of the week. From wearing traditionals to funky Indo-western outfits, here are actresses styling it up with each event they head to!

Samantha Akkineni

Samantha Akkineni has successfully impressed fashionistas this whole year. Contrary to previous years, Samantha is right on top in the South Indian fashion department. We simply love those loose pants and crop top that isn’t just stylish but also something that many are trying to emulate and nail. Mad props to her stylist who kept it subtle with the jewelry too!

Verdict: Yes, queen!!

Rakul Preet

The past few weeks, Rakul Preet opted for colour. Particularly navy blue. While it isn’t a bad colour on her, there’s nothing more alluring than a sexy black dress with a slit that shows off those heels. Her hair, too, is sleeked back and make-up is complementing the outfit.

Verdict: Yay!

Taapsee Pannu

While the outfit, separately, isn’t so bad, together they look too overdone. It’s all over the place and the shoes, which is an art in itself, looks grossly disproportional with the outfit. There’s a goth-chic vibe here but we’re hardly feeling it because the outfit, the shoes, the hairdo and make-up is giving us mixed signals. Not a fashion disaster but could’ve been a lot less extra.

Verdict: Nay!

Tamannaah

Tamannaah likes to play it safe and here she does the same, dressed in a sky-blue white outfit with nude make-up and beach waves. It’s casual with a tinge of glamour but the colour, especially the skirt, is just too blue.

Verdict: Nay!

Raiza Wilson

Wearing a darker, more subtle shade of blue is Raiza Wilson, who is giving us total old world charm here. We love how she’s chosen to wear her hair that way too, as though it were for a Hollywood after party. The curls and accessories are the real winners here!

Verdict: Yay!
