Happy Birthday, Prabhas: 5 Times Bahubali Won Our Hearts With His Character!

Well, there is no doubt about Bahubali: The Conclusion saw some real time box-office because it’d got some serene storyline and an even amazing cast who dedicated themselves for five years to own this story and make us live it just like they did. Every character has a background and is powerful in its own way. While Mahendra Baahubali’s romance with Warrior Avanthika was fresh and young, the romance between Amarendra Baahubali and Devasena was bold and eternal.

Amarendra did not just impress us with his massive body and charming yet subtle look but also gave s reasons to love him and see him as the ideal husband even in the 21st century (Source: Reviewwalebabu)

1. He loves his mother but loves his wife equally: When Amarendra says “if you touch Devasena, it’s equal to touching my sword”, who wouldn’t fall in love? However, he also makes sure to never disrespect his mother. He makes sure to do his best to make his lovely mother understand the reason behind his fight for his lover Devasena.

2. Makes sure to respect her family as much as her: When Kattappa introduces Amarendra as the ‘King of Maahishmati’, everyone including his future in-laws bow down to him. He hugs him and says, “Relatives and Sambandhis are meant to be hugged and loved, let’s maintain it that way.”

3. Respects her and doesn’t let anyone else disrespect her: In one scene we saw how Devasena lost her balance while walking towards the boat, Bahubali jumps into the water and Devasena walks over him and sits in that boat. Doesn’t matter if you are a King or just any other guy, for your wife you should be available in any given situation and whenever she needs you.

4. Supports her and teaches her with all love and respect: The very famous scene where Devasena chops the fingers of the man trying to put his hands on her and then Bahu comes and cuts him into two. The most amazing scene of the movie right?

5. Is there for her and helps her: We know how Bahubali taught Devsena to kill those enemies with 3 arrows and a bow, Devsena was trying hard to learn that. Bahu helped her with those skills so gracefully. Best scene ever!
