A train accident took place at Chennai’s St Thomas station owing to the place being overcrowded. Four passengers have reportedly died after falling from the speeding train, with 10 critically injured. The Chennai Beach to Thirumalpur train had an accident at St Thomas. The train usually runs on the fast-track, but it was diverted on a normal track thus resulting in an accident.

As we write, it is alleged that the body count is five. Seven injured when they slammed into the wall while trying to get out of the crowded train. They have been admitted to the government hospital near the station. A few of the injured are in a critical condition.
