First let us clear the air, the saying that women are difficult to understand is a false statement. Getting to know people is difficult in general and does not apply only to women. In fact, women too struggle to understand the psyche of a man! Here is a list of things men ‘think’ we want in a man, which is not true.
Women do not fall for a man who is just rich. These days we earn for ourselves and know the value of money. For all you know, we do not trust a man who has a lot of money. Also by the way, we do not expect you to pay the bill all the time. We actually feel uncomfortable about it, we’d like to share the expenses any day!
Looks are not the first on our list. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. We do like you nerdy, geeky guys as much as the hunks we drool over.
Women are not materialistic! We do not want you to shower us with gifts when we are angry. To be honest, after a point, it gets really creepy. We appreciate the small gestures that show us, that you are genuinely sorry.
We do no think your job is to pick and drop us everywhere. It is okay if you cannot make it. We will take a cab home. It is you guys who think we need to be ‘protected.’ Please, we are not always a damsel in distress, we have learnt a few self defense techniques too!
Lastly, it basically all comes down to how you treat a woman. We do not have a checklist that you need to fit into. If you love us for who we are, we will love you for who you are too.
