Reshma Quershi the face of NGO ‘Make Love Not Scars’ is an Indian acid-attack survivor. This phenomenal woman walked the New York Fashion Week and stunned the audience, giving us all inspiration to fight injustice!
Her campaign #EndAcidSale was an initiative to throw light on other victims abused by acid. Back in 2014, Reshma Qureshi’s brother-in-law and his friends threw acid on her and fled! This coward move by her brother-in law and friends didn’t stop Reshma from fighting back.
Reshma was invited to be a part of Fashion Week by FTL Moda, a company that is committed to challenging typical industry stereotypes of beauty! Ms Qureshi had the determination to walk the ramp like a model wearing a floral gown by Indian designer Archana Kochhar and may we add, she killed it on the ramp!
