A Sneak Peak Into Manish Malhotra’s Latest From LFW 16′

Couturier Manish Malhotra’s collections have always been about luxury, exquisite craftsmanship and attention to minute detailing. This time the designer collection is a combination of modern and stylish silhouettes for the young generation of brides. Every bride is special and one-of-a kind, he believes that her outfit of the day needs to spell that and more.

 

 

High on embellishments, the line up at Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2016 by the designer had all his creations bedecked with the signature resham (silk) threadwork and sequins. Each piece was hand embroidered with beautiful floral motifs to give it the stamp of couture.

 

 

 

 

 

 

There is a contemporary feel to all his garments, whether it be the jacket sarees or the lehenga with sheer crop blouses. The show had every outfit exuding the Manish Malhotra drama with their long trail silhouettes and the off shoulder capes. The jewelery was from the house of Anmol Jewellers perfecting every look with its stunning designs.

 

 

 

Shraddha Kapoor walked the ramp as the show stopper for the designer wearing a splendid looking lehenga made in green velvet. This was paired with an appliqué embroidered nude color cropped blouse giving the attire a modern and trendy twist.
