9 Ways to lose that extra Pound

Eating healthy is something that we all need to stress upon. But with our busy lifestyle, it is not always possible to follow a well-balanced diet. To compensate or bring a balance many people try various ways such as dieting, exercise, yoga and go on. However, the one thing that needs full attention is to keep a check on what we eat. Here are some tips to beat that extra fat:

1. The most important thing in eating is doing it at the right time. You need to eat every day at the same time.

2. It is also important to keep a check on the intake of fat. Pick food that has less fat whenever you can. But make sure you don’t cut them off totally.

3. Walking can help a lot. You need to take at least 10,000 steps a day that is equal to 50-60 minutes of brisk walking.

4. Snacking is something that we cannot avoid. But you can choose a healthy option such as fresh fruit or low-calorie yogurts instead of chocolates or crisps.


5. Second helping can be nice but stop right there if you are indulging yourself in meat. Do not hesitate if it is vegetables.

6. Many of us are stuck to our work tables and often find it lazy to take a walk. Taking a short break say about ten minutes every hour can help. It will stretch out your muscle and improve blood circulation.

7. Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water or sugar-free squashes. If you are a drinker, remember alcohol is high in calories. So limit yourself to one unit per day for women and two for men.

8. How you eat also matters. Having a meal at the table is the best way. Which means you will have to skip your TV when you eat.

9. Eating five portions of fruits and vegetables a day is the best way to stop putting on the fat. So just go for it.
