R Madhavan as Nambi Narayanan in ‘Rocketry’
If you have been keeping up with cinema news lately, you must have come across the latest film teaser that’s been doing the rounds. Madhavan’s next film Rocketry‘s teaser has had many declaring how promising it looks and why the story of the protagonist that the actor plays needs to be told.
Rocketry, directed by Ananth Mahadevan, is about an extraordinary man named Nambi Narayanan. The film will focus on the scientist’s life and the ISRO espionage case. It has been made in Tamil, Hindi and English. The multi-lingual film will focus on how Nambi Narayanan was in-charge of the cryogenics division.
Superstar’s upcoming film 2.0 is going to be the biggest blockbuster of this year. Directed by Shankar this is a sci-fi film and sequel to the 2010 release Endhiran wherein Rajinikanth played a scientist called Chitti Babu. Starring Amy Jackson in the female lead and Akshay Kumar said to play a negative role, the film is sparing nothing when it comes to budget and is probably one of the most expensive films ever made in India! What’s best about this movie is the role Akshay Kumar is to play in the movie. The first look hints at something that resembles a monster and we are in awe how much this is going to be a superhero universe film!

With the audio launch that happened during Pongal, we are over the moon to hear that Trisha is going to be playing dual roles in the movie with one being an architect and the other a baker. Jayam Ravi has finished shooting with Director Shakthi Soundarrajan of Meridian fame for the movie titled Tik Tik Tik. It is said that Tik Tik Tik is a space-themed film. The recent news is that Jayam Ravi’s son Aarav is making his acting debut in the movie. Jhabak Movies agreed to produce the venture, while it was revealed that it would be the first Indian film in the space genre.The team began pre-production work thereafter, with Jayam Ravi describing it as the biggest film in his career.Actress Nivetha Pethuraj joined the film’s cast in September 2016. She was selected due to her knowledge of jujutsu and kickboxing.Aaron Aziz, a Malaysian-based actor who mostly performed in Malaysian and Singaporean drama and films was selected as the lead villain, marking his entry into Tamil cinema for the first time in his career. D. Imman composes the music for this film, continuing his collaboration with the director; There will be no romance or songs in the film.
