English Vinglish is a Hindi/Tamil comedy-drama film with Sridevi in the lead. The movie was directed by Gauri Shinde. Sridevi plays the role of a housewife who decides to learn English and gains self-respect in the process. Sridevi was hailed as the Meryl Streep of India after this movie.

Irudhi Suttru is an Indian sports drama film by Sudha Kongara. The movie features R. Madhavan and Ritika Singh in the lead. Ritika Singh played the role of a strong and untamed road-side fish seller. Irudhi Suttru is about the challenges faced by Ritika Singh in order for her to become an acknowledged boxer.
