She started out as a model so there’s no question that she makes every photoshoot look awesome. He, on the other hand, appears to have the gift of posing. The two together, however, make for an eclectic combo on screen and paper! Visibly comfortable with each other and understanding their chemistry, their magazine covers together have always been sizzling, to say the least.
When dubsmashes came naturally to them
They liked to keep their relationship fun all the time. Indulging in dubsmashes, they showed how they can be serious and fun at the same time, keeping everyone entertained off-screen too!
When Deepika playfully removed his prized possession – his moustache!
Back in 2015, Ranveer used to love sporting a twirly moustache. That year, all his photos were him off touching his waxed moustache until one day, Deepika took the scissors and chopped it off. Dramatically exclaiming her triumph, the video of them is more cute than brutal.
When they spoke of each other full of love!
The two are visibly quite fond of each other. During interviews, they would often uplift each other with the kindest of words. In one interview, Deepika was quoted saying this about Ranveer: “I am very protective about Ranveer. When the world gushes on him, I am honest with my feedback of him.”
Similarly, Ranveer has always been supportive of Deepika and her battle with depression. Speaking about her, he was once quoted saying: “I was in tears when I watched her talking about it (her depression) on a TV chat show. It takes a lot of mental and emotional fortitude to come out with something that has such a large (social) stigma attached to it. Deepika has won me over for life with the kind of strength and courage she has. It’s incredible.”
