Suits are one of the most renowned and most loved formal wearings of all time. It still is a myth that women cannot pull off a suit and even if they do, it never suits them. The boring old skirt suit is over now and this is the era of fashionable suits that might also involve some great choices of tuxedos. Here is a great example of suits worn by these beautiful actresses which burst the myth that women cannot look formal, sexy and sassy in a suit:
1. Priyanka Chopra: Our favorite Hollywood/Bollywood star PeeCee has slayed a lot of suits in many events. Our favorite was the one where she donned a white two-piece suit from ST. studio by Olcay Gulsen. Priyanka accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and completed the ensemble with a sexy pair of Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
2. Deepika Padukone: All hail the reigning Queen who has worn numerous suit and has rocked each one of it. Our favorite was the red cape suit with the sleek hairstyle and minimal accessories including the red pumps.
3. Katrina Kaif: The fashionista has always kept her fashion style simple, suave and absolutely sexy. Our favorite out of the suits is an Alexandra Wang Black crop top paired up with an Isabel Marant Pantsuit. To complete the look she wore black pumps from Christian Louboutin.
4. Alia Bhatt: Red power suits seem to be a favorite for celebrities. Alia Bhatt looked super chic in Dior, wearing a contrast printed body suit underneath with nude pumps as well.
5. Samantha Ruth Prabhu: Samantha is one of the most amazing fashionistas in South India. She went in for a more formal-ish look with a long white jacket and printed inner, along with beige pants. She teamed with a three layer necklace which added the perfect finishing touch.
6. Tamannaah Bhatia: Tamannaah has been spotted many times recently experimenting with various looks and we must say she is carrying herself with poise. Our favorites from the suits is a mixture of English retro look that she totally nailed. She wore a Gold embellished black blazer from Madison with black wide-legged pants from & other stories.
7. Rakul Preet Singh: Rakul Preet Singh is all geared up in a formal suit. She was dressed in a black tuxedo jumpsuit by Shriya Som. The beaded chantilly lace insets detailing added beauty to her black tuxedo. She rounded off her look with a beaded fringe clutch, subtle makeup, and a bumped-up ponytail.
8. Hansika Motwani: Hansika Motwani tried the suit look for her recent movie promotions. She paired up a pair of black Bebe pants with a Zara tank and threw on a black blazer with sheer detailing around the shoulders by Aruni Designs. Accessorized with earrings by House of Shikha and slipped onto a pair of black pointed pumps to complete her look.
9. Amy Jackson: The way Amy has recently transformed herself into a full on diva is sure commendable. Our recent favorite is the retro formal suit inspired from the 1960’s designed by Caroline Hayden is truly brilliant.
10. Ileana D’Cruz: Ileana attended the Filmfare Awards wearing separates from Nikhil Thampi Label that not only featured his signature wide metallic belt but also included a dramatic cape. The outfit that showed plenty of décolleté was finished out with Dior earrings, a sleek ponytail and black pumps. She looked fabulous!
