Jayalalithaa is known to have officially declared her assets worth Rs. 113.73 crores. She had mentioned that she only possessed Rs. 41,000 in cash and she had categorized them under agriculture. Her house, “Veda Nilayam” is spread over an area of 24,000 square feet and now the value of the property is Rs. 43.96 crores. She also owned 14.50 acres of land in Telangana and 3.43 acres of land in Kancheepuram. Apart from these, she also owned four commercial buildings, of which one of them is in Chennai.
Jayalalithaa reportedly possessed 21,280.300 grams of jewelry and 1,250 Kgs of silver for which the total value was declared as Rs. 3,12,5o,000. She was a huge fan of cars and had 2 Toyota Prado SUVs worth Rs.40 Lakhs. Apart from these, she also owned a contessa, a bolero and a Mahindra Jeep. She had invested in 5 firms including Shri Jaya Publications and her total asset investments came close to 27.44 crores. Now it is being said that Sasikala will inherit the Poes Garden property along with the Kodanad estate, Shri Jaya Publications and Sasi Enterprises among others.
A farm land in Hyderabad is reportedly to fall under the hands of Sasikala’s brother’s son, Vivek Jayaraman.
