If there is one thing that has surely improved in the cinema industry, it’s not acting or direction, its marketing and promotion. From painting the actor’s face in an aeroplane to sparking a simple question, everything is attempted by the film crew to promote their film. The recent to join this list is Jyothika and Suriya.

The makers of actress Jyothika’s second movie after her comeback, Magalir Mattum, have come up with a very new promotional strategy targeting all the women audience. The film is directed by Bramma, has music by Ghibran and is produced by Suriya’s 2D entertainment. The film talks about the lives of married women. Along with Jyothika, the cast is power packed with veteran actors Urvasi, Banupriya, Saranya, Naseer, Livingston to name a few.

 

In order to promote the film, the makers are giving away free saree to women who watch the movie. One lucky woman from every show (includes all theatres screening Magalir Mattum), would be selected randomly and given a brand new saree.
