The big fat Tollywood engagement was hosted at the GVK house on December 9. However, reports suggested that Akhil Akkineni and Shriya Bhupal were set to tie the knot in May 2017. The wedding is is reportedly being planned in Tuscany with over 600 guests.

However,bride-to-be Shriya’s close friend Upasana Kamineni gave a quiet glimpse into her ‘haldi’ ceremony. The picture was shared by Upasana and looks like the reports about the May wedding was’t really true. The reported wedding is 5 months away, however, the haldi ceremony at the GVK house hints at a wedding which many be held sooner than later.
