A video of a Telugu student who’s studying in California has gone viral. The B.Tech student shares all the difficulties of staying in the US in the 3.18 min long video. She says how many Indian students are suffering in the country due to high rentals, bug-infested homes and how she’s homeless at the moment due to pest control and has no where to go!

It’s winter in the United States and she shares how she’s stuck in the cold outside. The unnamed student tries to make a very important point by making fun of how their dreams have shattered. She says how all the students get up, dress well, clean toilets and do menial jobs for as less as Rs. 2000. She also says the rents are over $3000 and around 7-10 of them have to share a one-room flat.

She complains of bug attacks in the room due to many people staying in the flat and how medical expenses are high. The video in Telugu has been shared by thousands online and at the end she pleads students to stay back in India and refrain from coming to the Silicon Valley!

Among all the students studying in the US, Andhra students are a majority! Looks like the new President’s inauguration and the current conditions will affect the number of students going to the US.
