After receiving his Padma Vibhushan from the President of India, Rajinikanth told media personnel that his much awaited film Kabali is likely to release at the end of May or early June. Fans have been waiting for this Ranjith-Rajinikanth combo for a long time and post production work is on full swing to wrap up the film by May end. The Superstar will be playing a menacing gangster Kabaleeshwaran in the film. The cast includes Radhika Apte, Kalaiyarasan of Madras fame and ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh. Santhosh Narayanan who has composed songs for all of Ranjith’s films is the music director of Kabali. The overseas distribution rights have already been sold for huge amounts and the Chennai Distribution rights have been bought by SPI Cinemas.
