A stalker had stabbed a 21-year-old woman on Wednesday in West Godavari district in Andhra, a day before her wedding. The stalker also ended up injuring the victim’s brother and her fiance. According to The News Minute, the woman named Dondepudi Lahari was in a relationship with 24-year-old Alla Kiran but they broke up in six months ago. She was all set to marry Suresh this week.

When the stalker found out about the impending marriage, he went to her residence and stabbed her. He later on went to a farm and killed himself. It is also to be noted that Lahari had complained about harassment in the past, stating that Kiran’s behaviour was troublesome. He was made to write a statement that he wouldn’t do so anymore.

As of now, the police have registered a case under sections of IPC 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder) and SC/ST PoA Act.

Early this month, a 26-year-old stalker had stabbed a woman in Telangana in broad daylight. The two had been in a relationship but she kept a distance from him after the break up, post which he went up to her work place. A heated argument later, he stabbed her but tried to flee. However, the crowd caught hold of him and thrashed him before handing him over to the police. The victim, however, died upon reaching the hospital.
