Samantha is known to be one of the busiest actresses in the industry today. With ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ and ‘Mersal’ becoming a big hit, the actress is busy shooting for ‘Rangasthalam’ alongside Ram Charan Teja and ‘Irumbu Thirai’ alongside Arya and Vishal, followed by Thiagarajan Kumararajan’s ‘Aneedhi Kadhaigal’ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Fazil. Her most expected release is definitely the Savithri biopic which has Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.

According to the latest reports, the final movie is with Sivakarthikeyan which is directed by Ponram. Siva has already done ‘Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam’ and ‘Rajini Murugan’ with Ponram. Simran is said to play the antagonist role in the film.

But that’s not it, Sam has signed another big film.

Samantha will start shooting for ‘U-Turn’ Tamil remake from January 2018. Pawan Kumar, who made the original Kannada version of U-Turn will be directing the film. “The project is in talks for a long time. Pawan has made necessary changes to suit the Tamil nativity”, said a source close to the team.

‘U-Turn’ was a Kannada movie with Shraddha Srinath in the lead. It was one of the most successful films.
