Tollywood’s most loved couple Samantha and Naga Chaitanya put all rumours surrounding them to an end my getting engaged early this year with th blessings of Tollywood superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amala Akkineni, brother Akhil Akkineni and his former fiancee Shriya Bhupal. Chaitanya also confirmed that he will be getting married to his ladylove by this year end. Reports made the rounds when it was almost confirmed that the real life couple were all ready to create romance onscreen for a movie which was to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

Tearing down our excitement apart of seeing them together onscreen, the movie has officially been shelved as the couple could not allot any further dates. Samantha will be tightly packed this year with a lot of projects. She is currently shooting for ‘Raju Gaari Gadhi 2’ which is a comic horror story and a sequel of ‘Raju Gaari Gadhi’.

She is currently shooting for the untitled Vijay 61 alongside Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menon and SJ Suryah directed by Atlee. She is also shooting for ‘Aneedhi Kadhaigal’ alongside Vijay Sethupathi and ‘Irumbu Thirai’ alongside Vishal and Arya. She will be sporting the legendary role of ‘Savithri’ in the bilingual biopic of the golden age megastar ‘Savithri’.

After continuous successes like ‘sagasam Swasaga Sahipoo’ directed by Gautham Menon and ‘Premam’ of the Telugu version alongside Shruti Haasan and Madonna Sebastian, Chay is currently shooting for his next with director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. He is also all set to make his debut in Karthik Naren’s next titled ‘Naragasooran’ alongside Arvind Swami.

The couple have acted together in movies like ‘Ye Maya Chesave’, ‘Autonagar Surya’ and ‘Manam’.
