‘Honestly, I never even knew that I was considered for that role. The evening that I was leaving for Georgia, I receive a call from Mani Ratnam Sir and he says that I would be perfect for the role in his next. But after 6 months work on the script, they felt the need for someone different. Everything that happens, happens for a reason.’
Sai Pallavi believes that it isn’t her time yet, fingers crossed, she hopes for another opportunity to work with the ace director. Now Kaatru Veliyidai is currently under production with Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari as lead pair.
