It’s raining surprise pairs in Kollywood. The new ones to join the list are Madhavan and Sai Pallavi. After much negotiation, the Premam star will finally make her debut in Tamil cinema. The yet-to-be-titled movie will be directed by Vijay, who has reworked on a script based on Malayalam hit ‘Charlie’.

Confirming the news, the producer Shruti Nalappa told TOI,”We bagged the remake rights for Charlie and Vijay has been working on the script to suit Tamil audiences. Now the script is a lot different than the original and it’s now an adaptation of the former.”

The producer also said that the shoot will resume in March and Sai Pallavi couldn’t contain the excitement when she was told the lead actor is Madhavan.

Now that’s one interesting pairing. Let’s see if Maddy-Sai Pallavi add fire to the screen.
