The much awaited Kollywood movie this year is doing the final bits of the shooting and are all set for post-production and eventually the big release. While things are moving fast on the sets of ‘Enthiran 2.0’, reports have been doing the rounds that the movie might be in 3D as well. According to Sify, theaters the team has decided to release the magnum opus theaters.

Apart from 2D and 3D, the news of an IMAX release has excited many of the fans. “From the beginning, director Shankar and cinematographer Nirav Shah are particular in delivering never seen before cinematic experience for Indian audiences, the film will have excellent visual and sound quality,” a source said.

“Several theaters including ‘Kasi’(Chennai) are under renovation with latest projection and sound equipment for 2.O”, added the source. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the film at a whopping budget of RS 350cr, AR Rahman is scoring the music for the film and the makers are planning to hold a grand audio launch in June.

Superstar Rajinikanth is said to be playing 5 different roles while the prime antagonist of the movie, Akshay Kumar is said to be sporting 12 different roles. ‘Madrasapattinam’ fame Amy Jackson will be playing the female lead. Initially, Katrina Kaif was considered for the role but she refused to act in South Indian movies due to which Amy was the next choice.

Slated for Diwali release, the film also has Adil Hussain, Amy Jackson and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles.
