Radhika Apte earned a name for herself in Tamil cinema with Rajinikanth’s blockbuster hit Kabali. As expected, Kollywood offers poured in for the talented actress, but Radhika took her time to decide and went on to do Parched, a movie which broke social prejudices.
Now, she is all set to sign her next Tamil film. Director, G. R. Adithya, younger brother of ace director Mysskin is making his debut with Savarakathi. He has approached Radhika Apte with a women centric script and the actress has expressed desire to do the film.
Adithya says, ‘Talks are on with Radhika Apte and they are all very positive. Once the deal is finalized, I will announce it. I cannot reveal much about her role, but all that I can say is, it is a performance oriented one. It is quite natural that when we bring in someone like Radhika Apte, the role is bound to be a meaty one as regards performance.’
