Mandira Bedi To Make A Comeback 12 Years After Manmadhan!

The film stars GV Prakash in lead role!

Mandira Bedi, television presenter, actress and model was last seen in Simbu’s Manmadhan in 2004. She played a glamorous doctor in the film and also appeared for a song with Simbu. Now, Mandira is all set to make a comeback with GV Prakash’s Adangathey. Directed by Shanmugam Muthuswamy and produced by Sri Green Productions the film is  a action drama starring Sarathkumar and Mandira Bedi in supporting roles. The director confirmed that Mandira Bedi is in the project and said, ‘This character is that of a north Indian, and I was looking for someone who isn’t too slim or curvy, nor too young or old for this role. I follow Mandira on social media, and when I saw those pictures, I knew she would be the right one for the role. Even she was surprised when I met her to narrate the story, and asked: How did you think of me for such a role?’

Shanmugam also revealed that Mandira will not be Sarath Kumar's pair. 'Both the actors do not have a pair in the film. Sarath sir will be seen as a politician.' Sarathkumar will sport a bearded look and will be returning to Tamil Cinema after a brief hiatus.
