Lakshmi Menon shot to fame with her debut movie Kumki at the age of 16. After becoming an over night star, offers were pouring in and she had no time to keep up with her studies. After taking a small break from acting, Lakshmi completed her 12th board exams in 2015. She then joined the Sacred Heart College in Kochi for her B.A. English Literature course.  Now reports are ripe that due to lack of attendance, the college had warned Lakshmi Menon and she has decided to quit college to pursue her acting career. However, the Miruthan actress will continue her studies in correspondence. Earlier when she joined college she was quoted as saying that her education was more important than acting but the actress could not follow on her studies as she has been very busy with shooting for movies back to back.
